About this product

This Cuisinart Mini-Prep Plus DLC-4CHB is a tested 4-cup electric mini food processor with stainless steel and plastic construction. It chops and grinds nuts, and includes dishwasher-safe parts and touchpad controls. The brushed stainless finish and clear work bowl with handle come with a spatula and instruction booklet. It has 2 settings and one blade.

Our take

I picked up this tested Cuisinart DLC-4CHB and it works great for small chopping jobs. The brushed stainless and clear bowl look nice on the counter. Touchpad controls are responsive, and the pulse function gives good control. Dishwasher-safe parts make cleanup a breeze. However, the single blade is a bit limiting, and the 4-cup capacity is small for larger recipes. At $23, it's a steal for basic chopping, but don't expect it to replace a full-size processor.
